Filing Day: And Why This Matters

On Monday, February 23rd, I officially filed to run for Carroll County Commissioner for District 2, and I had someone very special by my side.

My favorite daughter, Grace, came with me.

Moments like that make this journey deeply personal. The decisions we make today about growth, schools, infrastructure, and public safety aren’t just policy debates — they shape the future our children will inherit.

I’m running because I believe Carroll County deserves active, engaged leadership that does the homework, asks the hard questions, and works within the law to find real solutions. And I’m excited to get to work, listening to residents, knocking on doors, and having meaningful conversations about the future of our community.

This campaign is about protecting what makes Carroll special while strengthening it for the next generation.
